Shades of Gold Retrievers
Shades of Gold is a full-time breeder that focuses strictly on golden retrievers. All of our dogs have been selected from champion bloodlines and from lines with excellent health clearances. The lineage of our retrievers can be traced back to dogs such as "Asterling's Wild Blue Yonder" (the most championed golden retriever in history), and from nationally renowned lines such as Topbrass, Asterling, Tipperary and Westwinds. Our pups are show quality, but also are wonderful companions.
We breed to maintain the temperament that made these Retrievers Golden in the first place. Our dogs like to spend the summer in the pool with the kids and they spend the winters cuddled indoors watching TV with the family. We breed to bring the same joy to others; the love of a healthy dog; after all, love is being owned by a golden retriever. Our dogs are currently working towards various titles in the show ring at our local training club. We've even been used for national advertising campaigns.
Our pups are AKC registered, and come with a detailed pedigree. They include a starter puppy pack that includes some helpful training and health tips and a bag of puppy food. All pups are de-wormed will have first round of shots. We also provide a health guarantee with each dog we send home. Shipping is available if needed.

A Golden Temperament
Lovable, well-mannered, and intelligent with a great charm. That says it all when it comes to Goldens. They are easily trained, and always patient and gentle with children. Charming, devoted and self-assured, they are a popular family dog. Energetic and loving, Golden Retrievers enjoy pleasing their masters, so obedience training can be very rewarding. They excel in competitions. Friendly with everyone, including other dogs. Oh... and did we mention they LOVE the water?
